According to my sis, the first snow has fallen over Beijing. But here in Germany, it seems that the weather have rose a few notches the last few days. On Saturday evening, K and I spied a bunch of Bonners drinking coffee and beer al fresco. In November. Crazy.
Yesterday, the sun peeked out of the clouds and decided to shine full force into our little glass tower, turning the glassed cubicles into a sweltering greenhouse and its denizens into dehydrated raisins.
As I shed off sweater after sweater, I heard a rather loud "ACHOO" eminating from behind my colleague's computer screen.
I tilted my head to the left, peeking over computer monitors to look at Colleague M. "You okay?"
She rattled off a row of impressive sneezes, before sniffling, "Ugh. I always sneeze when the sun comes out."
Ngi.
Hahahaha :o)

:o)
They should have put in an Item #9 - When you feel like you need a reset, fly back to the nest.
Because that's what I'm going to do this Christmas.
All of us cousins are all coming home separately, one after the other--one on the 4th, another on the 12th, me on the 13th, another on the 16th. My grandma's house will begin to fill up with noise again.
I'm just missing my dear ol' sis in Beijing, who will be spending her first Christmas away from home. But it's going to be a new experience for you, sis, so no fear. And I'm sure we'll get to see each other soon enough :o)
And while my sis' presence can never be replaced, getting 2 new people to fill in the temporary void might not be so bad--K's arriving on the 17th, and maybe new German friend IB on the 24th.
I cannot wait. Santa must have thought that I was good this year.
